SLC Therapy, P.C., is proud to announce their new Clinical Symposium Series. This series will provide knowledge, support, and growth for parents, the community, and families affected by developmental disabilities by providing an outlet for dialog between communication professionals and individuals.

The first of the series entitled “Applied Behavior Analysis and Social Communication: The Application for Success” will discuss how blending the methodology of ABA with an emphasis on Social Communication works as a total approach to teaching skills, managing behavioral challenges and expanding the individuals ability to operate independently within home, school, or community settings. “There are a number of treatments that help children with behavioral and learning challenges, but we offer evidenced based, data driven, professional delivery strategies that will increase the likely hood of success for the individual as a result of having know us.” Said Tamina Stuber, Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Stuber is also the host and featured presenter for the symposium.

The Clinical Symposium will take place February 8^th, 2011, 6:00pm, at our Livonia, MI office, Located at 29240 Buckingham, Suite #1, Livonia, MI 481524. This event is free of charge and open to the public. Childcare will be provided on a first come first serve basis.
